Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Fighting Sales Engineer to join our team. This role involves generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing technical expertise to customers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fire protection systems, firefighting equipment, and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Support:
– Provide technical support to customers and sales team on fire protection systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
– Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders.
– Develop and maintain knowledge of products, services, and industry developments.
Business Development:
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and email marketing.
– Build relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts to generate leads and close deals.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing strategies and campaigns.
Account Management:
– Manage existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
– Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and negotiate agreements.
– Conduct regular site visits to maintain customer relationships and gather feedback.
Quote Preparation:
– Prepare quotes, proposals, and bid documents for customers.
– Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of quotes.
Project Management:
– Manage small-scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
Industry Knowledge:
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, UL).
– Participate in industry events, conferences, and training sessions to maintain technical expertise.
